Siegel Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2020
The Siegel High School Hall of Fame was created to honor:
- Those individuals who have excelled as athletes while students at Siegel High.
- Those individuals who have excelled as coaches while at Siegel High.
- Those individuals or staff members who have been ardent supporters of the Siegel High School athletic program.
- Those very special teams that have performed extraordinarily well bringing pride to the school and the community.

Brittney Winn Barnett - Soccer
Brittney Winn Barnett is a 2008 graduate of Siegel. She played soccer for the Stars for 4 years. Brittney had a renowned high school career at Siegel. Brittney was a part of U-14 US National Team Pool. In 2004, she was named district co-MVP and to the All-Rutherford A.M. Soccer Team. In 2005, she was named District 7-AAA co-offensive Player of the Year, All Mid-State 2nd Team, All Area, Region 4AAA Player of the Year, All State. In 2006, she earned District 7AAA All Tournament First Team honors and AAA All State. In 2007, she was named to the DNJ All Area Soccer Team, earned All District 7AAA – All Mid-state First Team honors, and named to the 2007 Tennessee Sports Writers Associations Class AAA All State Team. She held the school record at Siegel for the most goals and assists until 2017.
After graduating from Siegel, Brittney attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville where she played soccer her freshman year. She graduated with her Masters in Elementary Education. She teaches Third Grade at Brickey McCloud Elementary, where she earned Teacher of the Year in 2018. Brittney helps with a program called “Girls on the Run” at her school. She ran a full marathon in 2013 and has completed several half marathons over the years.
Brittney remembers the excitement of game days – and meeting teammates that have become lifelong friends. She is married to Luke Barnett and they have a daughter, Addie, who is 2 years old.
Charles Clark - Basketball
Charles “Bird” Clark is a 2014 graduate of Siegel. He participated in freshman football and was a member of the basketball team for 4 years. During his basketball career Charles earned All District Tournament honors, was named to the All District, All Region, and All State teams. He was named as a McDonald’s All-American Nominee in his senior year.
After graduating from Siegel, Charles attended Carson-Newman from 2014-2018 where he had a storied basketball career. While at Carson Newman, he earned First Team All-Conference 3 times. Clark racked up 11 career South Atlantic Conference Player of the week awards in his career, including five in his senior season. Both those totals are league records. He helped the Eagles earn 2 South Atlantic Conference tournament championships. He finished his tenure at Carson Newman with 2,339 career points. He is the South Atlantic Conference’s all-time leading scorer and the third all-time leading scorer in the history of the Carson-Newman men’s basketball program. Charles garnered All American awards for both his junior and senior seasons.
After leaving Carson Newman, Charles has played professionally in Iceland in 2019 and Brazil in 2020.
Kyle Coder - Wrestling
Kyle Coder graduated from Siegel in 2013. While wrestling for the Stars, Coder was the first ever State Wrestling Medalist in 2013 where he placed 4th in the 145 lbs. weight class. He won the 2013 Region Champion and was a two-time Region Medalist. Coder posted a 97-23 career record while at Siegel and is in the Top 10 in Siegel Wrestling’s All Time Leader Board for wins, reversals, and near-fall points. One of the best memories he has from his time at Siegel was getting in trouble for putting a skunk in someone’s car.
After graduation, Kyle wrestled in the Army internationally. He was a Beach Wrestling National Runner-up, a World Team Qualifier, two-time Beach Belt National Champion, and place 2nd (2018) and 3rd (2019) in the Powerade State Games.
Kyle is currently serving our country in the United States Army and was in Afghanistan during the withdrawal of US forces and American citizens.
Tikedra Jones Kellum - Basketball
Tikedra Jones Kellum is a 2006 graduate of Siegel. She was selected as the team’s Most Valuable Player in 2004, 2005, and 2006 and lead the team in scoring those three years. In 2006 she reached the 1,000-career point milestone. She says that having the privilege to play basketball with so many amazing individuals is one of her memories from playing for Siegel.
Kellum went on to play women’s basketball at Roane State community College for 2 years and graduated with an associate’s degree in 2008. She earned TJCCAA All-Academic honors and was selected to the TJCCAA All Conference First Team.
Her collegiate basketball career continued at Berry College for 2 years and where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2010. At Berry College, Kellum earned the Student Athlete Academic Award. She ranks 1st in school history in scoring average in a single season, 2nd in school history in field goals made in a single season, 3rd in school history in steals in a single season, and 5th in school history for most points scored in a single season. She also coached AAU for youth girls from 2012-2013.
Tikedra spent 2 years in graduate school at Middle Tennessee State University and graduated with an MBA in 2014. She is currently working as a Senior Business Analyst for REEF Global Inc. in Chattanooga, TN. She is married to Michael Kellum (2011) and they have 2 children, Makenna (3) and MaKira (3 months).
Tae Martin - Football
Tae Martin is a 2013 graduate of Siegel. He played both football and basketball while he attended Siegel. Tae had 1,048 receiving yards on 52 catches and had 18 total touchdowns his senior year at Siegel. He was earned All Area, All District, All Region and All State honors and was a selection to the Tennessee East-West All Star game. Tae helped the Stars complete their only undefeated season and reach the TSSAA Semi-Finals his senior year. One of his fondest memories at Siegel was “beating Oakland, Blackman and Riverdale twice in the same season”.
After graduating from Siegel, Tae attended the University of Tennessee at Martin from 2013-2017. He earned All Ohio Valley Conference honors his junior and senior seasons. He led the team in 2017 with 4 interceptions for 57 yards.
Tae is currently working in Special Education at Summit High School & Coaching Football and Basketball. He has helped the Spartans to a 2019 TSSAA Runner-up finish and a TSSAA State Championship in 2020. He is engaged to Lucy Pater.
Jimmy Oden - Basketball
Jimmy Oden is a 2006 graduate of Siegel. Oden earned All-Tournament, All District, and All Region honors while playing for the Stars. He is still the leading scorer in Siegel history. His best memory at Siegel was his teammates that turned into my brothers.
After graduating from Siegel, Jimmy went on to play basketball at Lipscomb University (2007-2009) and Middle Tennessee State University (2009-2012) where he earned his degree. He played in 56 career games in two seasons at Lipscomb, where he was named to the A-Sun All-Academic Team, as well as earning a spot on the Provost’s List. At Middle Tennessee State University, Jimmy helped his team earn a Sunbelt Conference regular season championship and earn a berth to the NIT Tournament. In the NIT Tournament MTSU went on to beat Marshall in the first round and Tennessee, at Thompson Boiling Arena, in the second round before falling to Minnesota in the third round.
Jimmy is currently a Nursing Home Administrator and own multiple businesses. He is married to Christine Oden and they have 2 children, LJ Oden 7and Lonydon Oden 4.
